Zsuzsi & Nico

Despite (or even because of) a few years of experience, we still love photographing weddings. Every couple, every person is completely different – and we usually we find something really interesting in everyone after a meeting or photosession, which makes them special for us. In the case of Zsuzsi and Nico we found it once we asked them where did they meet each other: the TransSiberian Express is not a typical answer for this question… :)

For such a trip they probably should have been as fearless as for a twilight photosession in a forest full of mosquitos (for those who do not remember we recall the engagement session), but who knows… maybe the mosquitos were more frightening. :) Anyway, their courage always has its own reward… sometimes a wife/husband, sometimes just a few photos; but we hope, both brings joy. Knowing that, maybe it’s no surprise that our long time awaited chance to make a photos with a mix of sunshine and dark, stormy clouds was realized at their wedding. :)

Besides the dark clouds and warming sunshine, there is much more to tell about the wedding. Sit back, find your earphones / switch on the music, and enjoy the slideshow:

Cristina & Gábor

The first three words that come to my mind: colors, colors and colors. We really loved all the colors of the decoration, mothers’, sisters’ and brother’s colors, and all the colorful girls, who were just like a rainbow together! Not to mention the bride’s shoes… :)

If we have to find some other words, these should be: balance, friends, Hungary. Balance between enjoying the day and having a well-organized wedding (which is actually not easy if you have many guests from Spain and Hungary, and you have to travel between the church and the reception).  Friends, who made the evening one of the best wedding parties we have ever seen. Maybe the Spanish influence? To be honest, now we really hope to see a Spanish wedding sometimes… :) And finally, Hungary: Cristina and Gábor invited all their friends here, and they took the chance to show a taste of Hungary – the Pálinka of Gábor’s Grandpa from 1996 or the beautiful Danube Bend and Visegrád on the top of the hill were perfect first steps into our beloved country. :)

Cris, Gábor all friends and relatives: thanks for the whole day! We really loved it, and now we try to show our impressions through the slideshow on the top of this post, and this short selection of images here!

Andi & Aksel

We’re going to start this year’s wedding season with a couple being especially important for us. Andi and Aksel not only gave us the trust to take care of their wedding memories (at least in images) – even thouth that means a lot in itself. But they have been  great friends of us for years at the same time. We were therefore rejoiced and thankful to see them together. It’s always tough to let a friend, or even a sister to leave far away, however we feel peaceful about Andi. Not only because we’re in love with Norway… :)

It’s hard to pick any moment of a wedding afterwards, and we cannot be neutral: the norwegian choir of our youth group brought visible emotions, especially on the Nordic faces. :) Then, on the reception we got to know that Aksel is similar to a Volvo from various aspects, and we have also found the rose being beautiful, with all of its details… Both the groom and his best man had a speech with a careful and catching mix of sense and and humor – these two speeches will be remembered long.

Andi and Aksel: Lord bless you and keep you out there, up North – and of course you’re welcome back, whenever you visit Hungary! :)
