Zsófi & Basti

We really love Budapest for having so many different “faces”, different moods, locations. Being a photographer here is really a great gift – we find completely different places for photoshoots from week to week, without the need to travel a lot. We just have to find a location which fits the needs and personality of our couples. :)

Seeing the city through the eyes of someone not grown up here is especially exciting: we were really lucky with Basti. Even though he came from abroad, he has spent a long time studying here, therefore he had the time to find his own favourites, and not just the most touristic locations. Therefore now we have followed the recommendations of Zsofi and Basti, even if we have kept some for the wedding also – it was the time to visit the old Jewish quarter and some of the so popular “ruin pubs”.

We loved both the bustling, crowded market and the slightly ruined but still colorful houses, gardens and staircases. We have almost felt ourselves as just tourists wandering with friends around – even if we were photographing them, and not the city itself. :)

We have met a really creative and colorful couple – just have a look at the accessories! So we are really waiting the wedding now… :)

The slideshow made of the pictures from the engagement shoot start when clicking on the photo below:

Emese & Richard – engagement photos

We always love to see if our couples are preparing themselves for the photo sessions, bringing in their ideas – as it shows their commitment, and willingness to have pictures they will like. No doubt, Emese and Ricsi was a dream couple in this sense… :)

Finally we didn’t manage to visit them in London for the pictures, but we had a really good time also near Kiskunhalas, their home town. Organizing even the sofa and the picnic should have been a challenge for them… but to arrange such a perfectly timed, stunning thunderstorm is really an outstanding performance. :) And we were lucky, we were planning those last pictures since years now!

These photos are not all we have of course… but we hope, it was enough to make all of you looking for the slideshow. Just click on the following pictures to start: switch on the speaker, sit back, and enjoy! :)

Andi & Aksel – “This is spring”

We loved making these photos – and maybe Eszter’s following “werk” photo explains everything. :) Added that we have spent more than a week up there, anyone may suspect, we were not only for photography work in the northern end of Norway… anyway, we could not resist that breathtaking landscape:

We have decided to put the color images in the slideshow (at the end of this post), therefore here we can show the scene in black-and-white. :)

We note that the world was covered by metres of snow, but lit by the shining Sun, resulting in an unbelievably clear weather. As Aksel said: “This is spring“. Which anyway became kind of a sentence for us: we have to admit, spring means something different in Norway that in Hungary. But now we know, we love both. :)

However, Norway isn’t Norway without colors and ships, so we have to show some images from Hurtigruten’s Nordkapp – just to make the slideshow even more attractive… :)

And now, let’s drive to the slideshow: a single click to the image below leads to a bucket of photos with snowcapped mountains, a beloved Norwegian doctor, a Hungarian linguist, and some beautiful (partly) nordic music:
